A year ago we made the following comment after the largest audit-consulting group rating publication: resources for the market extensive growth are almost exhausted - the key players should change their traditional strategies and do their best to increase efficiency. At "peaceful" time the process might take years. But companies had to make it quick.

At the pre-crisis period the market participants might have doubts in need to change their priorities, but the crisis made all things clear. Declined demand for services of auditors and consultants made it almost impossible to grow business in a mechanical way. Our thirteenth rating of the largest audit-consulting companies confirms the notion.
