Expert RA rating agency book

The book is based on studies held by Expert RA assisted by the RF Ministry of Industry and Energy. The point is to present a broad picture of large business development within the last decade and analyze the potential of brunches of industry in view of accelerating the country’s economic development. The book shows potential clusters of economic growth and mechanisms of its propulsion. Specifics of key brunches of the Russian economy are analyzed. Our information base for studies contains unique data on activities of the largest Russian companies, accumulated by Expert RA while preparing Expert 400 ratings, published annually in “Expert” since 1995.

Ten years ago we made our first attempt to make a list of the largest Russian companies. Now it has become clear that the accumulated data massive is almost the only source of the large business objective information. The picture of the Russian business in the book is not distorted by official statistics. Long and thorough observations allowed authors to answer the following questions:
