Expert RA has affirmed the corporate management rating of North-West Telecom

The Expert RA rating agency in the framework of the RID-Expert RA corporate management national rating has affirmed the 7+ (A) rating to North-West Telecom.

A 7+ company has low corporate management risks. North-West Telecom is observant of the Russian corporate management legislation and mostly follows recommendations of the Russian Code of corporate behavior and certain recommendations of the world’s best practice of corporate management.

North-West Telecom has been developing by leaps and strides due to strategic initiatives of the company’s management and shareholders. Quick reporting in line with IAS has notably improved its corporate management. The company was recognized to be one of the best in Russia as to corporate management quality.

In 2007 North-West Telecom was the 81-st among the largest Russian companies (Expert-200, capitalization). Sviazinvest is the main North-West Telecom shareholder (over 50% of voting stock). North-West Telecom was incorporated in 2002 by uniting 10 region fixed communication operators of the North-West territory.
