The First Voronezh Investment Forum “Regional Partnership – Competitive Strength of Russia"

The First Voronezh Investment Forum, organized by the Voronezh area administration together with the Expert RA rating agency is to be held in Voronezh area in June 26-29.

The forum will present resources and investment projects in Voronezh area by exhibiting the area investment potential.

The forum will host 1000 delegates: heads of federal and regional state authorities, Russian and foreign business, scientific circles and public organizations, Russian and foreign mass media. 440 large enterprises from all over Russia expressed their desire to participate in the forum.

The forum plenary session is to discuss the Voronezh area strategy, implementation of investment potential in engineering and infrastructure projects, as well as prospects for scientific, educational and personnel support of the real sector of economy. The second day of the forum will hold a field session of the RF Ministry of Industry and Trade Training staff for industry. Four round tables are meant to cover key topics of the Forum: Voronezh area innovation potential, federal priorities in agro-industrial complex, protection of the national agricultural market, inter-regional cooperation and private-state partnership in implementation of large-scale projects in transport and logistics, housing for middle class.

Chief priorities in building regional innovation systems round table would discuss regional aspects of the RF innovation policy, mechanisms of regional innovation system, challenges and prospects of investments to innovations.

Agro-industrial regional complex: growth territory round table would cover prospects of development of the agro-product market in relation to joining WTO, production of equipment for agro-industrial complex and investments into it.

State-business partnership in implementing large projects in transport, inter-regional cooperation and development of the Russian network of cargo and passengers redistribution centers – these are the key topics to be responded by round table Prospects of development of transport-logistics functions in Voronezh area.

Housing for middle class round table would discuss key elements for efficient mass construction, urgency of setting a legal market of rent housing, a regional role in mass housing construction.

On June 4 the Voronezh area governor V.Kulakov will gather organizers of the event to finalize the forum key events.
