Expert RA was awarded Golden Salamander-2008

On May 27at the Reception House of the RF presidential administration at Vorobievy Hills Golden Salamander was ceremoniously awarded to the all-Russia winners in the area of insurance.

Golden Salamander was organized by Financial World assisted by the Federal Service for Financial Supervision, the RF State Duma Committee for the financial market, the RF Finance Ministry. Aton-management (an asset management company) was the award general partner.

Expert RA was awarded in Development and promotion of insurance. The Agency-published Encyclopedia Expertise of the insurance market was marked by the award organizing committee as the best specialized publication on insurance. The group of authors headed by Pavel Samiev, Expert RA, department of ratings of financial institutions, was awarded for the best analytic publications in the leading business media: Expert, RBK Daily, Commersant, Vedomosti etc.

Says Pavel Samiev: Without being journalists, we prepare lots of analytic publications related to the insurance market. Our criticism is constructive and covers broad industry-vital issues. The best award for our service is recognition by the insurance community and mass media. I take our Golden Salamander as recognition of our achievements – studies, publications and ratings – fostering the insurance market development”.

Nominees included federal and regional insurance companies, insurance brokers, life insurance companies, medical insurance companies, public figures and organizations seriously impacting the insurance industry. All the nominees received the new issue of the Encyclopedia Expertise of the insurance market 2. The 2008 award widely covered regional companies from 12 different Russian towns: Saint-Petersburg, Moscow, Togliatti, Ekaterinburg, Vladivostok, Samara, Tcheliabinsk, Tver, Tcherepovets, Perm, Naberezhnye Chelny and Khanty-Mansyisk.

RESO-Guarantee was the head nomination winner (The best 2007 insurance company). Ingosstrakh was awarded in Quality of insurance services in 2007, and Information-open organization of the year award came to ROSNO.

Social project 2007 award was won by Rosgosstrakh and Insurance company UralSib.

Insurance innovation of the year came to RESO-Guarantee and Alfa-Strakhovanie.

The best federal net regional company came to Russkyi Mir (St.-Petersburg).

The best regional companies: Rossgosstrakh-Stolitsa (Moscow), Northern Treasury (Ekaterinburg), Ural-AIL (Perm), Sheksna (Tcherepovets).

Medexpress from St.-Petersburg was awarded in the nomination Voluntary medical insurance 2007.

URALSIB Zhizn (Moscow) was the best in Life insurance company 2007 nomination.

The best 2007 motor insurer was RESO-Guarantee, the most dynamic 2007 motor insurer – Russkyi Mir (Saint-Petersburg).

Rosgosstrakh-Stolitsa was mentioned in two nominations: Individual property insurance 2007 and Property insurance of legal entities 2007.

Development and promotion of insurance awards came to: the Expert RA rating agency, the publication Theory and practice of risk insurance, Rosgosstrakh (Moscow), MAKS (Moscow), Master-Center Insurance (Moscow), Russkyi Mir (Saint-Petersburg), TV program Insurance time (Joint project by Rosgosstrakh and Vesti 24 information TV channel).

Personal nominations came to V.Badiukov, L.Vasiukova, L.Asiukova, A.Zubets, O.Fedoseeva, T.Zakharova, Т.Fedotova (posthumously), P.Zubrilin, N.Galaguza, A.Razuvaev.

Recognition special organizing committee award came to V.Shcherbakov (posthumously), Ingosstrakh.

Special organizing committee awards came to: Moskovsky Komsomolets, Nezavisimost-Finservis, VOLVO, Rossyia Insurance Society, National Insurance Group, Railway Insurance Fund (Nizhny Novgorod), Yugoria (Khanty-Mansyisk), LAT assistant company (Saint-Petersburg), Ingosstrakh.
