Expert RA begins analysis of the market of audit-consulting services: Russian audit and consulting map

The project Audit and consulting map is aimed at analyzing and revealing objective information on audit-consulting services in different economic branches and positioning of correspondent market players in Russia.

Recently audit-consulting markets were quite successful. In 2007 (Expert RA) total revenues of 150 largest audit-consulting groups (ACG) achieved 37 bln rubles – their annual increase for the second year exceeding 40%, way over inflation and general economic growth. The revenue of 150 consulting leaders amounted to 70 bln rubles and increased by 50%. A favorable economic set-up is a reason for growing demand for audit-consulting services.

To make the Russian audit-consulting market picture more complete, Expert RA will make an audit and consulting map following 2007 results. The study would show what branches of domestic economy influence audit-consulting business, which of them really need the service, how audit and consulting companies interact with enterprises in different branches of economy. The map will look as a table with audit-consulting revenue indicators in economic areas.

The study results and the Map of Russian audit and consulting will be published in September-October 2008. The project analytic materials will be published in Expert and on Expert RA internet site.
