Expert RA has received Finance and Finance Elite awards

The Expert RA rating agency has received Finance and Finance Elite awards.

The Finance-2008 prize award third annual ceremony, held by Finance magazine, took place on April 10. The organizing committee awarded Expert RA for its “Contribution to the Russian business information transparency”. Pavel Samiev (Expert RA department of ratings of financial institutions) says: “When five years ago we requested information from insurance, leasing and management companies or banks in order to get reporting or data to compile a ranking, we often had to face denials since many market players were not willing to disclose their information. Today the situation is different. Companies themselves initiate information to be analyzed or rated. I hope that Expert RA has contributed to an increased market transparency – which is confirmed by the financial community recognition”.

This year Finance magazine awarded the best banks, mutual funds, insurance, investment and management companies, made special mention of the best financiers, legislators and business mass media. Personal nominations went as follows: “Best financial deputy” – Pavel Medvedev, the State Duma deputy, financial market committee, “Best financial senator” – Dmitry Ananiev, the RF Federation Council, on financial market and monetary circulation. Altogether 20 prizes were awarded.

On April 11 many financial market players gathered for the Financial Elite of Russia prize award ceremony. There were 39 nominations: “Banks”, “Insurance companies”, “Management companies”, “Private pension funds”, “Investment companies”, “Leasing companies”, “Finance mass media”. Grand prix were awarded to: Rosbank, Ingosstrakh, Raiffeisen-Leasing, Bank of Moscow management company, Private pension fund BLAGOSOSTOYANIE. The Expert RA publications – Market Expertise encyclopedic series were awarded in the nomination “Information-reference publications”. According to Ekaterina Korenkova, the agency director of publishing projects, the award is a deserved valuation of the encyclopedia’s experts, authors and editors. “We are glad that out encyclopedic books are of practical use for the market, its clients and partners, helping to find one’s bearings in the financial sector”.
