Risk-management has gained popularity among Russian companies in recent years. Several years ago risk-management was pretty exotic in Russia, mostly it was nothing more than regular insurance, but presently almost all large companies possess their own methodology of managing risks. It is not yet a system, but a lot has been done by Russian companies to have efficiently functioning risk-management systems in the future.

The Expert RA rating agency has been conducting Risk-Management in Russia project for five years.
