The VI Regional Investment Congress

The congress will take place on January, 31st, 2008, in Balchug Kempinsky Moscow Hotel (hall "Vladimir", 1, Balchug street, Moscow).

Last year the congress gathered about 250 guests including governors and representatives of 80 Subjects of the Russian Federation, ministries, largest companies and banks.

The main theme of the congress of 2008 - "Investment Climate of regions though the eyes of the business".

The aim of the congress is to present the possibilities of using investment rating of regions for developing and implementing regional strategies, for making business and reducing non-commercial risks in regions.

Within the framework of the congress program there will take place the plenary session and thematic roundtables on regional expansion issues, Russian and foreign companies participating.

Main topics for discussion:

• Companies' work in regions: analysis of cases of companies who actively enlarge their presence in regions.
• Criteria of investments in regional markets and partners' expectations.
• How much are companies ready to invest in regions?
• Ways of diminishing risks connected with entering regional markets.
• Degree of investors rights protection in Russian regions.

Target audience: directors of largest companies, banks, financial institutions of Russia, Russian and foreign investors, representatives of federal and regional authorities, journalists of federal and regional mass media.
